Yeah I slacked....

The intent was to keep this updated but clearly that didn't happen. Here's the quick rundown since summer. Emerson started speech therapy. He said his first word at 19 months. The word he chose was 'nice'. He has a few more words since then and he does know signs so we finally have some communication! Since fall started he's been sick a ton but nothing major thankfully, looking forward to spring in that aspect.

I met with my MFM doctor, Dr. Boyle in Sioux Falls, back in June to discuss getting pregnant again. We went over all the risks and what we would do as far as testing. We got pregnant right away but miscarried at 7 weeks. We had then planned to wait for a few months before trying again but life had other plans :) We are expecting baby #2 with a due date of May 30, 2011.

Emerson had a good Christmas. My parents bought him a large wooden kitchen set and he's been enjoying playing with that and all of the food sets that go with.
