It seems like we've been counting down forever and it's finally almost here! For those of you who don't know, we've been under a strict sort of 'quarantine' since Emerson came home from the NICU on April 11 2009. We decided to celebrate our freedom by going to Disney World! (Yes it has been okayed by the doctor.) We are leaving on the 21st and will be there 7 days staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Emerson's cousin will also be coming with us and it will be his first time at Disney as well. Thankfully the staff at the resort will be taking extra precautions for our room so we can all breathe a little easier.
We have tons of things left to do and pack in these next 5 days, traveling with two children sure is harder than going as a couple! I'm most worried about the flights, they switched our flight so we now have three connections on the way there and we leave Sioux Falls at 5:30 am. We'll have to be there by 4am and with the drive, we'll have to leave the house no later than 1. It will be a long day for sure. Hopefully Emerson sleeps in the car and at least a little bit on the plane. We opted not to get him his own seat this trip which we will probably regret. Any suggestions on how to keep a wiggly 1 year old entertained??
